A conspiracy theory is call this because if it is anything like the truth. The powers that be can deny, redicule and be little anything that is said. Admit it, conspiracy theories are a just a whole lot of fun and there are so many of them around. But what is a consiracy theory? Is it the rock solid information that comes from world leaders? Say the intelligence information that “proves” that a nation that is manufacuring weapons of mass destruction. A nation that must be stopped at all costs. When the facts are further examined the intelligence that lead to war was incorrect but was repeated so often that still a large percentage of the people in the country believe it. Was the government version a conspiuracy theory?
The term conspiracy theory never seems to apply to misinformed politicians, they are just victums of “bad intelligence” (and the more misinformed they are they more it doesn't apply). It is sometimes hurled at people that have done extensive research, the more dangerous the research (and the person) is to the status quo the more that label is applied (PhDs are a prime target for the label conspiracy theorist unless they teach and research the status quo).

From the day we are born other peoples views are forced upon us. If you are not of a particular religion you can’t go to that school. Therefore you have to a religion. You can’t sign the school form on behalf of your child atheist. This would not go down well at all. You can and a lot of people do pretend, but believe me when Billy Boy gets to school it won’t be long before he gets some religion if he likes it or not. Every part of the system is geared towards you believing what you are told. By your parents because their parents said the same. Or by books that have first been a proved by the powers that be. Then there is the media, you should always believe the media. Because the media is a free voice and no one controls the media. If you believe this then I am Father Christmas, and I give up now! Everything you see everything you hear is cognitively encrypted into you from the day you are born, so you believe without question. For those who are in power to stay in power which they have for hundreds of years. This is the only way the world most function. Ofcourse it isn't if we look at the evidence and read all the information around with an open mind. You soon come to the conclusion what you have been told isn't the truth.
It is very hard to get out of a lifetime of believing what you are told, it took me twenty years. But the time is coming when the "Truth Will Out" its self.

I prefer less theory and more conspiracy. I'm looking more for truth and facts as opposed to a bunch of made up bullshit.

A conspiracy theory can also be used by an opposing political party to discredit the currently active one, such as the 9-11 conspiracy theories. You can tell it is strictly political mumbo jumbo because only people on the left believe in it - and those evil powers abroad side with you on it - pretend like you are so smart - so they only have to make war with the right-wingers - then once the right-wingers are destroyed - they can come after the left-wingers
A conspiracy for political purposes, is not consipracy at all - it's called politics - both sides lie - there is no truth in it. Who cares if there is a 9-11 conspiracy - what happens if you can prove it? Not much I can assure you - the right wing gets replaced with the left wing - and nothing changes - so what is the point in getting all worked up about it? It is just fear mongering - so what if kennedy was shot by one man or twenty - what can we do about it - what is actually important?
We create conspiracy theories because we are constantly fed lies and we don't know what the truth really is - and we don't believe the official version of events - but one should never become so deluded as to actually believing that their conspiracy theory is true - even if you have a few shreds of evidence - doesn't make it true - doesn't make it false - only makes it possible - feeds the fear
Is there anybody on these boards who has a true conspiracy - one that matters? one we can all do something about? One where the truth is self-evident to anybody who looks - without the brainwashing and b-s that most people want to feed you in order to explain the logic of their delusion?? anybody?
